Edu Gil

In his work, Edu Gil Alsina combines existing images to articulate them through painting, considering them as a potential element to transition from one place to another, without the need for complete resolution.

He engages with themes such as the gaze, displacement, distance, emancipation, the image, and the very act of painting itself. He adopts a position with one foot inside and the other outside the frame, delving into this ambivalence.
