Work: Esther Miquel confidently formulates a distinctive visual language by reductiveness in form, color, and space and by fusing repeated motifs and symbols to create a unique universe. In her painting practice, Esther avoids drafts or sketches in favor of immediate interaction with the canvas, and experiments with speed, imperfection, and improvisation, in order to reveal unforeseen beauty. Miquel's work tackles issues such as silence, presence, impermanence, and minimalism where the viewers are invited to engage with the paintings on a deeper level, connecting with their true essence and creating a bridge to the vertical dimension.
