Work: Winner of the residency and acquisition prize of Piramidón in the latest edition of the UVNT'24 fair. His artistic practice revolves around the emerging intersections and divergences when comparing painted and digital images, addressing questions about their materiality and the influence that the medium exerts on our ways of understanding and interacting with different types of images. In some of his recent proposals, the emphasis on formal aspects and the play with material leads to dispensing with the represented image altogether. However, these resources typically appear combined with fragments of more or less recognizable images, maintaining a balance between presence and representation without leaning decisively towards one or the other. In this way, his painting can be simultaneously understood as object, process, trace, image, and subject.
